At EpsomTax.com, we try our best to be environmentally friendly. How so? We shred and recycle as much as possible, and instead of printing mountains of paper - or getting you to do that - we try to use electronic copies wherever possible. After our initial meeting, we aim to do everything via Skype, the web, email and telephone. We set our printers, screens and computers to "sleep" when not being used to reduce power.
Why? If we don't have to drive to see each other and do all that printing and use so much power, then we reduce pollution a little. It's the little things that each one of us does each and every day that help to save the planet.
Lastly, we're also a member of Neighbourly. It's an informative, private, and safe way to keep up with what's happening in your neighbourhood.
As a firm, we want to make sure that we give back to the community. At least 8 of our staff spend 2-3 days every week helping as unpaid volunteers in their local community, usually in social/humanitarian work. Another 2 staff members spend a 0.5-1 day each week doing the same. It's just another way we can help our communities.
