What is this invoice about? This page provides details re what is included in your invoice. There are exceptions at times, but these will have been discussed with you via email beforehand.  A contact form is provided below for any queries.

Please also remember that, as a general rule, our annual fees include all reasonable advice, queries, documents and forms throughout the year. Any exceptions would be discussed with you beforehand.


LTC

Prepare year-end annual financial statements and file tax returns for LTC (IR7 company tax return, IR7L shareholder distribution returns, IR10 financial statements summary); maximise tax deductions and identify any tax credits to be used; check RWT on interest; review interest deductibility; check Balance Sheet balances; review travel and home office claims; check solvency; check owners economic basis (if required); check if shareholder current account overdrawn and prepare non-taxable dividends as needed; record loan interest claims and check any current/term debt portions; adjust losses/profits for changes in shareholdings; check if entertainment adjustments; check legal fees for deductibility; capitalise any assets over IRD limits; income distribution as per LTC rules etc.

LLC

​Prepare year-end annual financial statements and file tax returns for LLC (IR4 company tax return, IR4J imputation return, IR10 financial statements summary, FBT fringe benefit tax return, RWT resident withholding tax return if required); maximise tax deductions and identify any tax credits to be used; check GST returns vs actual; check for any unrealised foreign currency gains; prepare dividend imputation account; check RWT returns and calcs: reconcile RWT to IR records; check Balance Sheet balances vs actual bank account balances; review vehicles for FBT rule compliance; check PAYE matches IR records; check solvency & issue certificate if needed; make ACC adjustments (earner premium); check interest deductibility; record loan interest claims and check any current/term debt portions; adjust losses for changes in shareholdings; check entertainment adjustments i.e. what is deductible and what isn’t; check legal fees for deductibility; review website costs; add any assets over $1,000+ (depending on purchase date); calculate depreciation rate and run depreciation, write-off old assets; make recommendations on income distribution etc.

PARTNERSHIP

Prepare year-end annual financial statements and file tax returns for partnership (IR7 partnership tax return, IR7P partner distribution returns, IR10 financial statements summary); maximise tax deductions and identify any tax credits to be used; check RWT on interest; review interest deductibility; review travel and home office claims; check solvency; record loan interest claims and check any current/term debt portions; adjust losses/profits for changes in partnership percentages or distributions; check if entertainment adjustments; check legal fees for deductibility; capitalise any assets over IRD limits; income distribution as per LTC rules etc.

SOLE TRADER

Prepare year-end annual financial statements and file tax returns for sole trader (IR3 tax-resident personal tax return or IR3NR non-resident personal tax return, IR3R rental return if applicable, IR526 donation return); maximise tax deductions and identify any tax credits to be used; review interest deductibility; check Balance Sheet balances; make ACC adjustments as needed; record loan interest claims and check any current/term debt portions; check entertainment and travel adjustments; check legal fees for deductibility; capitalise any assets over $1000 (or $5000, depending on purchase date) and calculate depreciation; make recommendations on income distribution etc. Assist with provisional tax calcs and reminders.

PERSONAL TAX RETURN

Prepare and file IR3 tax-resident personal tax return or IR3NR non-resident personal tax return – capture income and loss from all sources, including wages, salary, self-employment, company / partnership / trust distributions, overseas income, interest and more; IR526 donation return. Assist with provisional tax calcs and reminders as required.

TRUST

Prepare year-end annual financial statements and file tax returns (as required) for trust (IR6 trust tax return, IR6B beneficiary, IR10 financial statements summary); maximise tax deductions and identify any tax credits to be used; check GST returns vs actual (if applicable); check for any unrealised foreign currency gains; prepare dividend pass-throughs if required; check RWT returns and calcs if applicable and reconcile RWT to IR records; check Balance Sheet balances vs actual bank account balances; check interest deductibility; record loan interest claims and check any current/term debt portions; check non-deductible items; check legal fees for deductibility; add any assets over $1,000+ (depending on purchase date); calculate depreciation rate and run depreciation, write-off old assets; make recommendations on income distribution.

GST RETURN

Prepare and file a GST return. This can take anything from 1 hour to 3 hours or more, depending on whether you use something like Xero and whether it is a 2- monthly return or 6-monthly. We usually send one invoice but if it is especially complex we may contact you re a second invoice.
